About Us

Mike Patton and Bryan Davis started the business through friendship in 1984 as finish carpentry installers. As the business grew over the years, we continued to excel in quality cabinet work and finish carpentry installation. When the housing market began to change, so did our business analysis. We were motivated to increase our market share and expand our operations of doors and millwork to a supply and install basis. In 2008, we were excited to open our new door shop, M&B Carpentry and Manufacturing, Inc.

M&B Carpentry has craftsmen with a combined experience of 100 years, who will not compromise the quality of their work in order to save a little time. Each and every custom job done by our master carpentry shop is designed and constructed to your specifications. Through custom design and quality craftsmanship, we strive to make your home as beautiful as you dreamed it would be.

Congratulation to Mike Patton on his retirement at M&B Carpentry — good luck on your future endeavors! President and sole owner Bryan Davis and his wife Marty Davis will continue to carry the family business in hopes to be passed to son; Taylor Davis and his wife Gabrielle Davis.

Taylor was born and raised in Porterville, CA. Gabrielle was born and raised in Lompoc, CA. Both met at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo in 2006 and reconnected in 2016. Taylor and Gabrielle moved to Visalia in 2018 with the intention of becoming (part) owners at M&B Carpentry. Over the last 4 years, Taylor has gained passion in working with surrounding superintendents, ordering supplies, planning and organizing daily tasks for fellow employees and takes pride in helping the community with making dream projects come true.
